About Eddie Heinzelman...



Eddie Heinzelman is an in-demand and well respected session musician / sideman who, at the time of the acquisition of this Gene Watson 'Peer's Quote' in March 2022, was playing guitar and mandolin, and providing background vocals with hit songwriter and country music artist, Radney Foster, along with some of the biggest names in country music and Americana music.

Eddie Heinzelman is a native of Brookville, IN and started playing at the age of eight, studying Classical guitar and then Jazz guitar.

Eddie Heinzelman began performing professionally at the age of thirteen, quickly establishing a reputation as a premier and versatile guitarist around the Cincinnati, Ohio area, working with regional and national acts in various genres from country music to rock music to jazz and classical music.

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music's Jazz & Studio Music program, Eddie Heinzelman formed the country band, Durango, with his brother, and saw the release of an extended play (EP) disc, 'Closer To Home', which was featured in the Country Music Television (CMT) 'Dance Link' video series.

Soon thereafter, Eddie Heinzelman moved to Nashville, in order to focus on writing songs and began playing guitar live and on sessions for other singers and songwriters.
