Today, Gene Watson graced the hallowed stage of the Grand
Ole Opry in Nashville. Gene was onstage at 7.30pm CST and, backed by
the Opry band, performed three of his classic songs.

Gene Watson was also expected to undertake an in-store appearance at the
Opry Shop at 5.30pm (CST) on Thursday 2 April 2009.
Gene Watson would then grace the stage at the Grand Ole Opry for the 'Opry
Country Classics' Show at 7.00pm on Thursday 2 April 2009 - other artists
expected to appear were Marty Stuart & Mandy
