The Gene Watson Fan Site is proud to announce, in association with Sarah
Brosmer at Lytle Management in Nashville, the following news,
courtesy of Gene Watson's
Official MySpace Blog:

'Hope you're staying somewhere cool in this heat!
I've been travelling from
Texas to Tennessee a lot & I can tell you the heat has hit both places.
Enjoyed the shows we did with Merle in both Branson
& Tuscumbia and now
we're headed to Roundup, Montana for a 4th of July show. If you're anywhere
near, come on out.
The management office sent out a new newsletter today
& there was an
unfortunate computer glitch so if you happened to be one of the ones that
got the newsletter 20 times, sorry for that.
If you didn't see the
newsletter you can go on the
www.gene-watson.com site & it's up there now.
It'll be on the www.genewatsonmusic.com site tomorrow.
There's information up now on both websites about the
Opry Cruise coming up
in January so check that out. Hope you can join me for that - I know it
will be fun with Larry Gatlin,
Jeannie Seely, Jim Ed Brown, Chuck Meade &
the Opry band.
Looking forward to the release of the album August 25th. We cut a song with
Trace Adkins you're going to like, I guarantee it.
The album's called 'A
Taste of the Truth' which is what I think country music is all about.
Hope you have a very safe and happy 4th of July with your loved ones, Gene'.
