Thursday 15

Today, it was announced that Gene Watson's concert appearance on Saturday 17 February 2007 at Nashville North in Taylorville, Illinois had been officially moved to Saturday 10 March 2007. This change in Gene's tour schedule was as a result of ice & snow in Illinois.

However, Gene Watson still appeared on the hallowed stage of the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman in Nashville on the night of Friday 16 February 2007. The only change to this scheduled date was that Gene's Farewell Party Band would not be appearing - instead, Gene worked with the Opry House Band.
