Today, Gene Watson took a short tour of the new Musicians Hall of Fame while
visiting Nashville & had the good fortune to run into his old friend, Joe
Stampley.

The curator/owner of the Musicians Hall of Fame was
Joe Chambers whom Gene also knew - Gene recorded
Joe Chambers' 'Ashes to ashes' & included
the track on 'Honky
Tonk Crazy' (Epic Records,
1987).
Joe Stampley, Gene Watson & Joe Chambers enjoyed a nice visit.

Today, James McGarrity of JW Promotions announced
that he was very pleased with the resounding success of Gene Watson's tour
of Northern Ireland in August 2006 (Wednesday 2 August - Wednesday 9
August), so much so that he planned to have Gene
back for more dates in October 2007.

James also stated that he hopes a future tour would include dates in the
Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, England & Scotland.

Today, Sean Brady received his
first email from Sarah Brosmer, who acts as Gene Watson's Day-to-Day Manager
at Lytle Management in Nashville.

They came to a mutual agreement whereby
they would share news about Gene Watson, as & when
it became available.
