The 'Little by Little' album garnered three Top 10 hits for Gene Watson on the Billboard country music singles chart in the United States of America in 1984; 'Drinkin' my way back home', 'Forever again' & 'Little by little' all sat comfortably at No.10.

The 'Little by Little' album doesn't just have the distinction of including three of Gene's biggest hit songs.  The album also has the distinction of being the third Gene Watson release to feature members of his acclaimed Farewell Party Band on record, thus affording listeners the opportunity to hear this authentic group of musicians for the third time, in a studio setting, recreating a concert sound.

The 'Little by Little' album was recorded at Pete's Place, Nashville, Tennessee where the Recording & Mixing Engineer was Al Pachucci.
