About John Lomax III...

John Lomax III was raised in Texas & is the grandson of pioneering folklorist John Lomax.  He has been a nationally published US music journalist since 1967.  John's work has also been published in Europe, Asia & Australia.  He is the author of 'Nashville: Music City USA' (1986) & co-author of 'The Country Music Book' (1988).

John Lomax III is also an artist manager & has represented artists such as Townes Van Zandt (RIP), Steve Earle, The Cactus Brothers & the Dead Ringer Band.

His son, John Nova Lomax, is the Music Editor for The Houston Press in Texas.
