Exclusive PR / Publicity Representation of Gene Watson / Contact Scott Adkins at Adkins Publicity in Nashville

For exclusive PR / publicity representation of Gene Watson, contact Scott Adkins at Adkins Publicity in Nashville.

Gene Watson's Peers within the country music industry believe in the sheer talent of this unassuming man from east Texas, so much so that Gene is regarded by many of them as 'the singer's singer' - and rightly so!

All of Gene Watson's Peers, who were contacted during 2013, were most gracious with their time and words.

It is here, within this special part of The Gene Watson Fan Site, that you have an opportunity to read a quote from Dale Sellers, which he submitted to this site on Sunday 23 June 2013.

Sean Brady would like to take this opportunity to say 'thank you' to Dale Sellers who made a special contribution to this unique part of this online 'celebration of a Lone Star Hero'.

Sean Brady would also like to say 'thank you' to the kind folks at Tim Castle & Young Southern, without whom the acquisition of this Gene Watson 'Peer's Quote' from Dale Sellers would not have been possible.

I got your email forwarded from Tim Castle / Young Southern.

Yes, I stand guilty of being the guitar player on Gene Watson's records back in the 1970s and 1980s; fun times being a part of that.

Gene was one of my favourite artists to record with; he always had real good songs and he could flat out sing 'em.

Gene plays The Hank Williams Festival every year in my hometown, Georgiana, Alabama and the people that I talk to down there always have good things to say about him and his show'.

Thank you, Dale Sellers, for your support of Gene Watson.

At the time of the acquisition of this Gene Watson 'Peer's Quote', in June 2013, Dale Sellers was living in North Lake, Wisconsin and was spending time in the studio working on his new solo album release for RockIt Records.
