About John Wesley Ryles...
John Wesley Ryles was born on Saturday 2 December 1950 in Bastrop, Louisiana.
John Wesley Ryles made his debut in 1968 with the single 'Kay', a Top Ten hit on the Billboard country music singles chart and the title track of his debut album for Columbia Records.
Although John Wesley Ryles recorded several more studio albums and charted more than twenty additional singles over the next two decades, only one of his singles, 'Once In A Lifetime Thing' in 1977, peaked any higher than his debut.

As a solo artist in his own right, John Wesley Ryles has seen the release of several highly acclaimed albums, including 'Kay' (Columbia records, 1969), 'Reconsider Me' (Plantation Records, 1971), 'John Wesley Ryles' (ABC/Dot Records, 1977), 'Shine On Me' (ABC Records, 1978), 'Love's Sweet Pain' (ABC Records, 1978) and 'Let The Night Begin' (MCA Records, 1979).
Since the release of his last single in 1988, John Wesley Ryles has served primarily as a session guitarist, background vocalist and demo singer.
