About 'Greatest Hits'...
Overview
Gene Watson was very much a major league artist within the genre of country music at the time 'Greatest Hits' was released. Gene had seen the release of six albums for the MCA Records roster between 1981 and 1985 & this compilation of material celebrates Gene Watson's time at the label.
Gene Watson's 'Greatest Hits' collection from 1985 features a total of ten tracks from the Gene Watson (MCA Records) albums: 'Between This Time & the Next Time' (MCA Records, 1981), 'Old Loves Never Die' (MCA Records, 1981), 'This Dream's on Me' (MCA Records, 1982), 'Sometimes I Get Lucky' (MCA Records, 1983) and 'Little by Little' (MCA Records, 1984)'.
As a footnote, MCA Records also released Gene Watson's 'Little by Little' on CD (catalogue number: MCAD 22009) in 1990.
