Since 1975, Gene Watson has been an artist who has adhered to, and remained
faithful to, a 'hard' traditional country sound. Gene Watson is truly a
'Lone Star Hero' & his music is part of the very constitution of country
music. It is in Gene Watson's country music recordings that the tradition of
heartfelt, genuine country music is preserved for all time.

Gene Watson Fan Site had 4 copies to give away of the special Gene Watson
compilation 'Matters of the Heart'
(which was officially released on Monday 11 August 2008).

autographed photos from Gene Watson himself to giveaway.
The special online competition, commenced on Monday 1 June 2009 & continued
until Wednesday 1 July 2009 - a list of competition winners will be
announced soon.

Country Music Hall of Fame Exhibit:
On Tuesday 25 March 2008, Gene Watson donated several items to the Country
Music Hall of Fame & Museum's Frist Library & Archives; the donation took
place during a taping of GAC's 'Master Series' & was aired on the GAC (Great
American Country) television network.
The 'Gene Watson: Fourteen Carat Voice' exhibit,
which
opened in Nashville on Monday 20 October 2008 & was
expected to continue
until the end of June 2009, has been indefinitely
extended -
