Overview
Gene Watson was very much a major league artist within the genre of country music at the time this compilation album of material ('Greatest Hits') was released.  Gene had seen the release of six albums for the MCA Records roster between 1981 & 1985 & this compilation of material celebrates Gene's time at the label.

Gene Watson's 'Greatest Hits' collection from 1985 features a total of ten tracks from the Gene Watson (MCA Records) albums: 'Between This Time & the Next Time' (1981), 'Old Loves Never Die' (1981), 'This Dream's on Me' (1982), 'Sometimes I Get Lucky' (1983) & 'Little by Little' (1984).

As a footnote, MCA Records also released the 'Little by Little' album on CD
(MCAD 22009) in 1990.
