Hux Records, based in London,
England have been specialists in releasing classic archive recordings since
the launch of the company in 1998. All of their titles have included
material which has never been available previously on CD.

With regard to Gene Watson, Hux Records
have, to date, released six of his albums from his glory days with Capitol
Records, as three special '2-for-1' sets.
Following email suggestions received from Sean Brady as far back as 2003,
Brian O'Reilly at Hux Records have
released the following Gene Watson 2-for-1 CD sets:

Hump Head Country, based in Leatherhead in Surrey, England have access
to a large catalogue of major country music stars & have also released a
series of back catalogue albums.
In addition to their popular 2-on-1 series combining two albums onto one CD,
Hump Head Country have released a number of well researched & well
thought-out compilation albums.

Following email suggestions from Sean Brady in December 2007, and again in
May 2008, Jo Ashbridge at
Hump Head Country decided to release 'Matters
of the Heart', a 20-track compilation of Gene Watson material from his
time with MCA Records between 1981 & 1985.

'Matters of the Heart' is a 20 track compilation (on
Hump Head Country) of
tracks taken from four of Gene Watson's MCA Records albums ('Between
This Time & the Next Time' (MCA Records, 1981),
'Old Loves Never Die' (MCA
Records, 1981), 'This Dream's on Me'
(MCA Records, 1982) & 'Sometimes I Get
Lucky' (MCA Records, 1983).

Of the 20 tracks on this special compilation from
Hump Head Country, 12 of
the tracks appear on CD for the first time, namely tracks 5

('You're just another beer drinkin' song'), 7
('The girl I used to run around on'), 8
('Til Melinda comes around'), 9
