'Cowboys don't get lucky all the time' (track indicated thus *) was also included on the 'Convoy' soundtrack album, which was released on United Artists Records (UA-LA910-H) in 1978.

The track was included on the soundtrack album upon the recommendation of fellow country music artist Kris Kristofferson, who starred in the Sam Peckinpah-directed film, alongside Ali McGraw.
