On Wednesday 13 January 2010, it was announced that Gene Watson & the
Farewell Party Band will tour Ireland, England & Scotland in July & August
2010.
The Gene Watson Tour of Ireland, England & Scotland
will commence on Thursday 29 July 2010 & will continue until Monday 16
August 2010.

released Gene Watson's highly anticipated 'A Taste of the Truth'
in the US on Tuesday 25 August 2009; the album was officially released
in the UK & Ireland on Monday 21 September 2009.

'Congratulations to Gene Watson for winning (Citadel Media's)
Real Country
Network 'Listener Choice Award' for 'Legend of the Year'. Gene beat out
other nominees George Strait, Reba McEntire, Hank Williams Junior & Randy
Travis.
Real Country Network listeners voted during the month of October 2009 as part of
the network's celebration of 'Country Music Month'.
When told of the honour, the ever humble Watson stated, 'This
made my day. It was a thrill just to be in the category with such great
artists & to win is such a compliment from the fans. I am very honoured to
accept this award'.
On Tuesday 27 October 2009, Gene Watson participated in a taped interview
with host Kris Wilson at the
Real

Gene Watson taped an interview with 'Inside Music Row' in Nashville on
Tuesday 25 August 2009 at the Country Music Hall of Fame; this interview
was aired in the US the week of Monday 21 September 2009 - Sunday 27 September
2009.
On Thursday 10 September 2009, Gene Watson participated in an
interview for the UK's highly influential & widely regarded CMP
(Country Music People) magazine.
The interview was conducted by Walt Trott at the
Nashville offices of John Lytle
Management & has been published in the November 2009 issue of the

Country Music Hall of Fame Exhibit:
On Tuesday 25 March 2008, Gene Watson donated several items to the Country
Music Hall of Fame & Museum's Frist Library & Archives; the donation took
place during a taping of GAC's 'Master Series' & was aired on the GAC (Great
American Country) television network.
The 'Gene Watson: Fourteen Carat Voice' exhibit,
which
opened in Nashville on Monday 20 October 2008, closed
on Thursday 24 September 2009 -
